Aston Villa planning complaint to Premier League

Probably not. Easily the most corruption the Premier League has seen. VAR and refs have been in favour of Newcastle all season, clear to everyone but their fans.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve been involved in match fixing along the way.

😂 it’s a konspirucy!! They’ll be telling us the earths round next the bassas

Because it still needs implementing by humans. And humans make mistakes. Every single one of them makes mistakes.
Few years it’ll be run by a.i mate. Not sure if I’m for that as let’s be honest the human mistakes has made football over the years.

What a load of shit!

Mistakes are made and have been made for years by both players and refs.

Players miss open goals, and make horrendous mistakes that cost teams big games.

And refs make big mistakes that cost teams games always happened always will.

That doesn’t mean players or refs are dishonest?

That’s just football , going down the legal route is farcical
Don’t go talking sense on here marra.
Some won't like it.

Feels like we just need to stop up next season and we'll be in Europe.
Makes it shit when we finished 7th twice and don’t get to Europe.
Just saw the video of the goal, the ref had a brain 🧠 fart... very wrong.

Apparently he blew the whistle so no VAR, ffs.

Saudi money? Check his bank balance
Yeah there’s an angle where the ref blew as it was happening. Ref without a doubt fucked up.

Referees cannot win either mind.

In real time, from his angle, he's thought it was a foul and tbf, it doesn't seem outrageous he'd make that decision. He was wrong, but reasonable logic behind it.

People will say "well he shouldn't have blown and let VAR decide". But then linesmen get a lot of grief for doing that with offsides.

The referee made a mistake, but it happens.

The referee was honest, perfectly honest. It was a mistake but it was an honest one.

Same as Martinez made a an honest mistake earlier in the game which put them down to ten men. They gonna legally challenge him as well?
It wasn’t the fact that he misjudged the challenge. Anyone could do that. It’s the fact that he blew up, depriving VAR the opportunity to review it.

We’ve had it rammed down our throats all season that play should be allowed to continue. There is no point in having VAR if this happens.

Not applying the rules is more than just a mistake.
