Away fans downstairs?

Mags get away with it due to police and safety officers saying its unsafe to move them downstairs, according to the Internet

We need to fight and challenge this as much as we can @Becs apologies for tagging you again (not really )

It was such a bonus not having Coventry fans pitch side. We have to use the mags as a benchmark and use all the arguments we can to prevent any move.

Be interesting how they do it, either a slice down from the north stand where they are now down to pitch level, or move the away fans en bloc to the south stand, which is what many seem to want.
Yep I was thinking along the lines of the north stand as the buses are moored behind there too

Always a confusing one for me because the mags have them upstairs - so if it's a regulation then how do they get away with it?
Possibly, just possibly, for the same reason the Premier League accepted a commitment that the state of Saudi Arabia would not have control of that contemptible club – even though the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which bought and now controls it, is a Saudi Arabia sovereign wealth fund, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman?

I'm sure they've said before that we get a grace period when we get promoted before away fans have to come downstairs so it won't be for the 25/26 season.

Mags get special dispensation as apparently they can't have away fans downstairs for health and safety or logistical reasons.

From reading the boards, more of us want the away fans pitchside, for a far improved atmosphere.

It didn't have a bearing on the atmosphere against Coventry. It is the worst reason going. When playing shit and losing, having the away fans pitchside is the last thing you want.

Awful idea which has to be stopped.

We need to argue the same. It's total rubbish the mags saying that. If the PL give them an extra £100m to shift their fans, I'm sure they'd find a way to make it work.

I get that we have different opinions, that is fine.

But there was a long thread a month or so back where the general consensus was to have away fans pitchside ie more wanted pitchside away fans than didn’t. The discussion also involved where they could go to facilitate that.

It's an awful idea mate. The cons outweigh the pros. Tbh, I can't think of any pros. Atmosphere certainly isn't one of them, that is a total myth. If anything our fans need to be more organised and committed to make a better atmosphere, you don't need away fans to help in that respect, hence why they were shifted to create a singing section the past.
