Frankie and Danny - Thank You!

The Premier League broadcasting deal unfortunately means no more in-house live streams such as SAFSee, and as such no more Frankie and Danny during games.

Not sure that Danny will read this, but I'd imagine Frankie as a MLF probably gets on here.

Whilst they will be missed, with the best will in the world I hope we don't have their streams for many a year as it will mean we are still in the big time!

Just thought I'd create a thread to acknowledge them and say thank you. For us exiles, they've been part and parcel of our matchday experience twice a week for the last 5 years, and I for one will miss them.

Danny's insight and knowledge as a relatively recent and hugely experienced EFL player was always eye opening especially in terms of breaking down opposition that wouldn't be overly familiar to us as fans, and the passion that Frankie displays as an MLF really shone through.

IMO, Danny would be a great fit for Sky's EFL coverage, but I hope we don't lose him.

Regular viewers will be well versed in Frankie's "have you ever......Danny", and Danny's "goal" or "there it is" after an opposition goal, but I'll end this thread with their finest moment. If any SAFC fan in that stadium could have spoken during Ballard's winner, the below video is exactly what they would have said.

Thanks lads and hopefully you will be still be involved in some way, shape or form in the PL.

Just said my to better half - will miss their commentary next season.
.

Really enjoyed listening to them over the last 8 years.

With us being promoted, will that end the show as it’s no longer needed for ifollow? Or will they still carry it on?

Frankie’s reaction to Ballards header will go down even better “can you hear me Tony Blair?” Against the mags.
Just watched them for the after match half an hour. Not keen on his commentary but seems a sound lad. Was buzzing….

I think they will still be doing it for the international viewers won’t they?

Hoping so. Great to have them as part of the setup.

Frankie such a fan, and Danny more professional and less excitable. The contrast really works I think.

Either way, had some crazy journey with them on comms over the last 8 years.

I don't know if they will be allowed in the Premier League but even if they did it for internal highlights, I think it'd be worth keeping them around.

I'm a huge fan of both.

Be prem league streams next season won’t it? Good thing is we won’t get some random team showing f***ing replays over and over while the game is ongoing so the game can’t be commentated on🤯😂
