He's played a handful of games for us, that's hardly dedicating his life to Sunderland.
He's been developed and nurtured by Sunderland, then at 18 when he's been given a couple of first team games he's off at the first chance to bloody Brighton.

Well if he hasn’t dedicated his life to Sunderland then he can’t have been nurtured and developed all his life by Sunderland can he? It’s also not the first chance he has had to leave. Not even close to it.
 
We will see if he’s part of our play off plan if Regis picks him in the team this week.
Wouldn’t bother me if he’s in left side this week, he’s quite an exciting player and possibly our best pic until Mundle is fit

I think it's looking doubtful that Mundle will be fit - I certainly can't see Mundle starting the play off semi finals, so we may need to get something out of Watson if we want to see Le Fee in the middle.
Watson's attitude was better yesterday, and if he continues to improve could have a part to play in the semi finals. Needs must, and if he is in the right frame of mind, then Regis will pick him imo.

What's worse is that the players that do want to play for us, and got us to 4th and the play offs, are being booed off at half and full time. That's the kind of support our fans are offering our players going into the playoffs.

I wasn’t, but I witnessed the performance on TV, is it not better to just not applaud him? than hear the negative booing which doesn’t help, at a young lad who has just made a career decision. Him and his family still love the club.

What’s done is done. Watson is now technically a loan player. Timing was strange. Rlb obviously believes Watson is focused and hasn’t dropped his standards in training or he wouldn’t be making the team sheet. With the Mundle injury and no guarantee of him being back we need a fully fit and firing Watson going into the play offs. Let’s leave what’s happend behind and back every player who pulls on the shirt from now until the end of the season because let’s face it we stand a better chance of getting through the play offs if Watson hits his pre injury form.

I was and didn’t boo him there or felt the need to do it on Monday. We are going for promotion and a player who may have a big part in the play offs is getting booed. Great stuff :rolleyes:

Anyone know what the fight was about in the lower south stand on Monday? It was just after Watson got subbed so no doubt was over booing him :lol:

That’d be my guess. Someone boo’ed, someone called them out, someone had paid their money & we’re entitled to their opinions etc etc etc
 
Listening to Kieron Brady earlier on one of the pods and he reckons he's went from £1.5k PW at Sunderland to £60k PW at Brighton.....canny uplift
