I genuinely don’t understand your logic.
It’s simple really, the more time you get to bowl another team out the more chance you have of doing it?
If they don’t bowl them out and they go past the Durham score so be it.
Just give yourself the best chance by declaring and giving yourself more time and overs to win the game.
I genuinely think that’s just common sense

Best thing that could happen i reckon. Looks like another good day with the bat. Not sure how they bring Bedders back in especially just to give him time in the middle to prepare for the Saffers. Although we might huff him.
