Durham v Notts (H) 16/5/25


Couldn't make it to the ground today so only kept up to date by BBC sport. Seemed like Notts were going to score 600 at the start but we fought back well only for Notts to rally at the end. Could be claimed they should not of got anywhere near 407 but that's why they're top of the division their no pushover.

Same here, first time this season I've been able to be there for whole day. The fifteen minute snooze after lunch doesn't count. It was noticeable that those who were in the County Durham pretty much stayed until the end.

Sorry if it's been asked already but no Jamie the Shouter this season?

I keep in touch with his Dad and they're both fine. Just a few issues but they're fine, just think it's a case of trying to get Jamie back into a routine. Small steps, not easy for his Dad who is a cracking bloke.

Not seen or more to the point heard Jamie at all this season, I heard third hand that he now attends some day centre/training establishment, I wish him well.

Yeah he's doing some job scheme at a garden centre I think it's one day a week. He's doing alright though, small steps. He has attended some local club cricket in recent weeks and is getting out a bit more. Remains to be seen when he'll make a return down to Durham, but his Dad watches a lot online. He's enjoying his job though
