Durham v Notts (H) 16/5/25

Hameed 150, how's his career been going recently? seemed to be an England prospect a few years ago ;)
Nice to have Raine and Drissel in the same team  hopefully won't be a shower ;)

He's having a really good year. His move to Notts a while back coincided with a change in approach for him. More attacking intent and more scoring shots. Getting the captaincy has helped him knuckle down too. His S/R is up where it should be. I wouldn't call him up to England personally, but could see the reason why, if he did.

Always seemed a decent lad when interviewed. Not baby Boycott anymore? more baby Basher?

Yes he’s a fine player fair play to him

We can’t get tail enders out it’s an ongoing problem our total lack of ability in taking 20 wickets this season.

We always look so much worse when Potts is not in the side and I imagine he will be carrying drinks again next week.

He’s bowled a lot of overs for us. We can’t be resentful of England like it’s class for him

No idea how cook has moved ahead of him like

Inability to knock over the tail is a traditional Durham weakness and has proved very costly today again.
The depth of our bowling is very weak and forward planning by North and co is looking rather threadbare
The county would have known that Potts and Carse would be missing for huge chunks of the season which leaves on Ben Raine as our mature seamer other than our youngsters Hogg and Minto
Our overseas bowling recruitment is akin to a lucky dip unemployed foreign b
Our bowling recruitment isn’t very good
Our county bowling attack which is available is the weakest it has been for some years
