Sky are televising a county championship game starting this Friday.

No information on which ground they'll be at.

Lad from Sunderland Liam Patterson-White with a 133* effort with the bat currently

Durham seconds got him recalled for the first team after 165(165) and 13/170 the other week. Which clearly got him into some form with the bat at least!

Lancashire have had a bit of a stinker of a start to the season in Div 2, looking like no wins in their first 5 games and sitting second bottom.
I was at Northants yesterday. First time I've been. I loved the ground. It was a great game as well. Harris looks a great batsman for Lancs but yeah, they dont look like they are going to bounce back this time.

Funny game at Kent. Glamorgan have looked like whipping boys while Kent have looked strong and had a good win last week at Middlesex but Glamorgan absolutely tonked them.

When looking at that Lancs batting lineup of Jennings, Bohannon, Harris etc you would expect them to walk the league. Not many people would have had Leciester and Derbyshire as the top two at this stage of the season.

I'm pretty sure they would have lost to Leicestershire as well this season if it wasnt for rain.

I don't think their bowling attack is good enough either. 7 innings they've bowled and 4 times the opposition has scored 400+

He'd never batted higher than 5 I believe. Mental to shoe horn him in to open against the best attack in the world!

The obsession that Ed Smith had trying to get a David Warner opener by hook or by crook. Also making sure Buttler was in the side at all costs too.

Root
Roy
Stokes
Bairstow
Moeen
Woakes
Broad
Anderson

That would have been a class side from 4 down if we could have just found a 2 and 3 to compliment Cook. We pissed about too much playing Moeen and Bairstow all over the place when they should have just been left at 7/8.

Buttler in general did Ok but he just was not needed

Bairstow was best in world at 7.

Totally agree on Ali too

we basically moved our lower middle order to make up for lack of top order options, and it removed our strength! So frustrating.

If he really wanted Buttler in the team he should have just tried opening or putting him at 3 and if he failed then don’t pick him

see Rushy played some club Cricket at the Weekend in the Birmingham Premier League, hope to see him back soon but definitely seems like his body is letting him down now

You can say that again

Aye he’s done nothing since leaving

Still ridiculous that he felt the need to leave mind
