Attendance Thread - Coventry City (Play-Off 2nd Leg)

That's what I mean. Addd the away fans and you get up to or around the 45000ish on the official post. The grounds meant to be able to hold just under 49000
To our stattos!....isnt our largest ever official crowd around 47500 ish?...lazy bloody journos just rounded our max stadium capacity to 49000!

Judging on the above, we may only have about 1000 corporate sold. Doesn’t sound as though Montgomerys, the business lounge or the riverside have been on sale and still availability in Quinns and James Herriot suite.

May as well open some of the seats for general sale if that is the case.
If I've had to buy 2 seats for family up in the gods in the corner, and then prime hospitality seats come available for general sale prices, I might just go down the ticket office and egg someone.

Nor seriously, just get them open for general.

Wiki:
"The highest football attendance at the Stadium of Light is 48,353 set on 13 April 2002 for a Premier League game between Sunderland and Liverpool. The Stadium attendance record for non-football is 60,000 on 3 June 2022 for an Ed Sheeran concert."

Well, if Business Lounge, Montys and Riverview aren't open, surely that knocks at least another 500 off the gate?
They are selling those tickets on general sale by the looks of it. These are the seats that keep popping up at the front of the concourse if I'm not mistaken.
As soon as they pop up they go within minutes.

It's going to be a nightmare for people getting in on time if they turn up late, particularly in the concourse with everyone having digital tickets.

I hope the club put out a plea to get there extra early.
Aye, I’m going to have to leave work about half an hour early tomorrow.

They already have.

Or at least some of the supporters groups have:
You must be logged on to see media items
or people show a bit of common sense
Although, to be honest, it would be f***ing hilarious if we had to delay kick off for 15 minutes because our fans were late.

:D

Our attendances amaze me for 9 seasons out the top flight. All you hear off the mags is “tHar MaKuMs aRe LYING abOoT ThAr FIGAZ” but there isnt a cat in hells chance them entitled scruffs are turning up in numbers after being served years upon years of misery.

The numbers we already get are eyewatering for a non top flight club but It just goes to show if you EVER give our fanbase even a scrap of positivity, momentum, something to shout about. The demand for tickets will be insane and every bit as big as they are for the saudi scruffs up the road.
