No. but are you certain we are still at the point where it’s inconceivable? That’s why 1939 is relevant. They didn’t actually bomb civilian targets in British cities for another 12 months. But they could have done. So it wasn’t sensible to have 40,000 crowds.

Before anyone starts. I'm not admonishing Pak. Just that it's more nuanced than they make out. For instance put yourself in Pak people's shoes in kashmir region. India have been land grabbing for ages and after the two big sources of water in Pakistan that orginate in the himalayas. Would you trust India to not fuck about with said water if they took control of that region, maybe divert or dam it up? What would you do in their shoes if someone was coming after your livlyhood? Just look how big India is and they want to squabble over a tiny part of land? A land whose people would vote for Pak or independence if they ever got a chance to choose. Which they will not as the war machine rumbles on making shit loads for the elite while their agendas get played out.

It's all so f***ing tiresome man.

FWIW India is an awful country IMO. Just look at the caste system and the plight of the Dalits there.

I’ve never spoken to an Indian cricket fan who can be objective either. They’re all absolute gob shite helmets. Hope England stuff them this summer.
