ECB have been undermining and making a mockery of red ball cricket with their sole aim promoting their love child 16.4I'm glad Campbell is calling it out. Mind you Durham have been guilty of some poor pitches in recent times as well mind. However this game here has basically just been a complete waste of time. Something needs to be done about it because it's making a mockery of the competition and folk are spending good money watching it.

No idea why the hundred or the ECB can be blamed for a county producing a terrible wicket.ECB have been undermining and making a mockery of red ball cricket with their sole aim promoting their love child 16.4
Yes but that's nothing to do with Hampshire playing on a used wicket in the first week in May.ECB have been undermining and making a mockery of red ball cricket with their sole aim promoting their love child 16.4
It's not so much it was a flat wicket it's the fact they used the same wicket they had used for a match the previous week. It's the first week in May not September.I don’t see the relation at all in this instance mind
What’s that got to do with a flat pitch at Hampshire?

I know I’m just saying what’s that got to do with the 100?
Because of the 16.4 red ball matches are having to be played
too early in the Spring to be able to produce suitable surfaces.
Ditto why they had to play 2 games in succession on the same wicket. That's how the schedule is making a mockery of red ball cricket.
Prior to the enforced crowded schedule a groundsman would have had to prepare 1 strip by early May
That's why in future 50 over cup is planned for early season-as they did with B&H Cup
And why are so many wickets prepared on the very edge of the square?
Yeh,last week in April ,1st week in May was normally the 1st game. We've now played 4 or 5 games by early May.Aye first week or so I’ll give you that
Cricket usually been played at this time of year tho

Yes,it's being an increasingly early start and becoming increasingly problematic.Depends how far back you are going, for example Was mid April in 2005
