Regis le Bris - confirmed

Come off it man.
Browne
Blondy
Poveda
Abdullahi
Moore
Conolly
Alecksic
Samed
None of them improved the team.

I'll give you Isidor.
No agenda here but to say our summer signings improved the team is nonsense.
Browne definitely improved the squad, Moore is a better deputy than Bass was, Blondy wasn’t ever going to be anywhere near the first team and I genuinely believe we signed him to be the U23 keeper allowing Young to be loaned out for 1st team experience. Poveda is a waste of oxygen whose skin wouldn’t graft, so maybe an oversight by the club there but that’s more his attitude than owt else. Overall our depth is so much better this season than it was last and we have a better starting 11 too.

In hindsight I’d have rather kept Ekwah than swap him for Samed like but it is what it is.

Don’t like the look of Aleksic but willing to give him a chance because a few signings have come good second season.

My only gripe is that we didn’t replace Clarke really, I think he could have been the difference potentially and that £15m doesn’t seem like such a great deal if we were to miss out on promotion.

Other than having experience I'm not sure what he's brought. He isn't particularly good at anything

So if Regis believes we can win this I hope to god he doesn’t sit back and hope to keep it tight in hope our home game will win it.
If we end up parked in our own half he’s clearly a lost cause.
Im hoping my gut feeling in him is way off and he has a little bit of tactical awareness for these x2 games.
We must create chances, let’s hope he’s played a blinder and we’re all being played for fools.

Yep, playing 'rope-a-dope' has not proved very successful!

Although tbh, we have been poor since January.

No offence but reading that thread makes me think there might be some kind of gas leak or mass CO poisoning case wherever those posters live
I have to say that I wasn't expecting that and have no idea where the lad has got his information from. Complete bolt out of the blue that one and it must surely be bullshit.

Cant find anything on any other QPR forum where his name is mentioned as a contender.

Imagine if it’s true and KLD sells up then RLB throws le towel in? Christ that would leave us high and dry

Please quote where I've said entitled. We are however one of the bugger clubs in the country with infrastructure and fan base to support premier league football. If we punch to our weight we're a prem side, as you agree, we were a prem side nit that long ago, for a decade too.
Sadly, although we have large fan base home and away, this means very little in today's money-dominated game. The revenue from ticket sales, (of course less the extra cost of maintaining a larger stadium) pales into insignificance next to TV money. Bournemouth can do very well with 11k attendance, Brentford with 17k. A large fanbase does not a premier league side make, any more than a proud (ancient) history does.

So what do Brentford and Bournemouth do that's better than us?

I don't think we were capable of getting 100 points with that shallow of a squad personally.
That's down to us and how we manage our resources. Quite a few out on loan this season if you look at it, we'll be covering at least part of many of those if not all.
How can they prove you right when you said they don’t promotion? Are the play offs over then?

It isn’t but it certainly helps. Wonder how much of their parachute payments are being used on their new ground
They can prove us all wrong by trying to go up. We've not had ambition to get to the prem under these owners. At every stage when they've been tested they've pulled back. It's clear they are happy to be at the top end to get supporters to engage and pay for kit/tickets but they won't give that last push to get us over the line. Year after year since promotion they've written off the season in January.

We'll see re Luton payments next year. They should bounce straight back. Not the first and won't be the last not to bounce straight back to prem. Ipswich stopped relegated teams last year, forest not long before. If you write off promotion before a balls kicked you'll never achieve. Wrexham and Birmingham won't think that way you can bet your life on it.
Everyone called Beale. If you don't think "thos lot" don't want promotion your delusional we've got two good strikers. You're just a miserable individual who knows absolutely fuck all
You can keep throwing insults but I've been proven right much more than not. You may think in negative but I say it as I see it. The player farm model will be exposed. Whether you see it with you head in the sand is up to you.
