Small wonder have replaced vigilante as the later band in live lounge on Saturday, that’s where you’ll find me this weekend. So much choice to be had for everyone there though.

Sure I seen jacka posted earlier that the time had changed for the nutopians tonight and was now a 8pm start

I'm going to see the Gerry Cinnamon tribute band at the 3 Stories tonight and probably Ben Harrington at the Peacock tomorrow at 18:00.

The Gerry Cinnamon tribute act at the 3 Stories were quality tonight.

Anyone off here enjoy a gig in our vibrant music city tonight?
Ok mini review

Started with nutopians at the ivy, first time seeing a band in there, liked the setup. As you’d expect great standard.

Next pistoleros at live lounge. Seen them about 10 years ago, good times.

Sure, they’re a bit niche which I like (eg waterboys version of van Morrison sweet thing) and my mates really didn’t take to their set. Shame, I loved it but we ended up at vestas with some cheesy band who they loved and I cowered. A mixed night 😂

Went to the Roulette Festival at the Independent last night. I only saw four acts but they were all brilliant, shame as I really like House Proud, who I missed. First up we saw the last four songs by Slalom D and they were on fire. Really good band with a great singer. Then we saw Swindled who play 60's ish pop using great harmonies and a really good stage act. Then it was Dead Wet Things who I'd not seen before. They were much better than expected, good band and fantastic front man. Then, headlining, was Patrick Gosling who just gets better and better. Great songs, great singer, great band. There is so much talent in Sunderland and it really needs supporting and shouting about.
