‘77s got to be playing somewhere. They cancel bank holidays if ‘77 haven’t got a gig & everybody just goes to work as normal.

As much as I appreciate the Pop Recs exists, I'm not confident they publicise their events very well.

By chance I found out about a Shonen Knife/BMX Bandits show on 7th June. Couldn't find it mentioned anywhere on various paltforms.

Have bmx bandits ever headlined? I have seen them a few times supporting bands(soupdragons). Bloody years ago though, very early 90's

Follow the promoter Hapless Museum Worker. His events appear regularly in my social media feeds.

Yeah
I've mentioned it a few times . I contacted them about one band when I was a patreon
No reply...
I cancelled my sub a little while after

Done that. Take it he’s a promoter?
Yes. A one man band as far as I'm aware.
It's also worth following the promoter F54 who announced a Pop Recs gig recently (Prefab Sprout guy). Endless Window, Prancey Dog, Portions4foxes and Wandering Oak all put on some great gigs in the North East too so I recommend following their accounts too. There'll be many others. Hoying them a few likes probably helps the algorithms show you their posts.

Aye, I follow F54 & Wandering Oak like. I’ll seek the other ones out.
