He’s a Hampshire lad originally. Played for their 2s a few games last season. Clearly a talented lad, plays with Borthwick at Hartlepool so will be seen plenty by him. Definitely one for us to keep a watch on whilst he’s at Uni

It's about time we looked at the University lads. There are quite a few that go on to do well in county cricket, and we ignore them whilst they're here. Booth at Warwickshire is another that lived in the North East for 3-4 years, and I'm told he had choice of around 8 counties at the end of his Durham Uni days.
