Booing and abuse

I think it’s ridiculous hurling abuse at a team that finished 4th to be honest. Completely understand disappointment in missing out (we werent a better side than Leeds or Burnley) and recent performances but the idea of battering the players ahead of the playoffs is insane to me. Surely we should be pulling together and trying to sell out the play off semi and getting a decent atmosphere going

This. Farcical.

Far too sensible a post. Many of our fans wouldn't know a football if it hit them square on the head. Instant gratification is all they 'demand'. I've thought for years we'd do much better if we were a Brighton, Bournemouth etc. without the entitlement some of our fans have.

You've nailed it. Instant gratification is what its about. They see Saudi Arabia up the road winning blood cups and assume we should be swatting aside all before us.

Pretty sure the coach didn't tell them to be shit, stop controlling the ball and when you pass it, make sure it's to the opposition.
The more time he spends with them the worse they become. Maybe he needs to consider that they aren't getting the message, whatever that is. Is he bamboozling and micro managing their every move. They look sick as fuck.
Oxford were one of the worse teams I've seen at the SoL this season.

To go there, get beat 2-0 and not have a shot on target is piss poor. Yeah there's nowt to play for but there's loads of fans made the effort and professional pride too.

For an experienced, well balanced side that wasn't good enough today.
And the head coach says we are in game mode now, wow.

Instant gratification?

It’s 1973 since we last won a trophy.

Probably the most stupid take I’ve seen today.

76 points and finished 4th. Season complete a few weeks back and just preparing for the play offs. People still fuming we didnt win the league above three parachute payment clubs.

He obviously didn't but his tactics his coaching, his team selections, his instructions have lead to this.
Hopefully we can pick up some momentum for the play offs.

I’d be surprised if anyone who has travelled all that way with the expense would think that performance was anywhere near acceptable.
I lost most of my loyalty points due to kids football on Saturday mornings the last few years but can’t remember that many where I’ve stood at the end and thought “they aren’t trying”. I don’t think they did today at all, they should always play for the shirt and they didn’t appear to be.
O’Nien is a great lad, no doubt but he was laughing when Cirkin put that chance wide at the end. Poor for me, that.

We do need to stick together to have any chance
Admittedly we arnt going in all guns blazing -in fact the opposite but getting onto the likes of Riggy won’t help .
Hope the team really go for it next week ( and beyond ) and Reggie shows we can go in on the front foot .
At least don’t go out with a whimper !

Well thats not what the fume is tho is it , you’re just making stuff up to defend the absolute anger of four months playing shocking football and hitting the play offs looking like Lawrie Mcmenemy’s globetrotters from 1985.
