Durham v Worcestershire (A) C.C.

It was bad like. Feel like we can say that without coming across as bad losers now

All I’d say is we batted loads better 2nd innings than first. Too in our shells first one.

You’re right tho it’s hard to say much. Especially with Ball and Yusef.
A crap shoot of a game made batting more or less impossible and no value for your shots when you did finally time one.

It has been flooded five times over the winter. I'd cut them some slack.
I do. But that doesn't turn a bad wicket good and there is fault here. I can understand their problems but that game shouldn't have been played on that pitch, they should have gone to an outground.

The sooner they can find a long term solution the better.

They don't have a home game for three weeks. It will be interesting if it is another shocker like yesterday/today. They may have to give up home advantage or play at Kidderminster again if it is a long term issue that can't be overcome.

A bizarre game of cricket but we came out winners at the end. I was never confident of winning until it got down to about 12 needed. On that wicket absolutely anything was possible. Some great cameos but thought that Raine was outstanding when he ripped through their top order at the start of the second innings which set the game up. No doubt, despite the game being over within two days, we'll still get docked points for a slow over rate.

Important win for Durham. Got a soft spot for Worcestershire but they look like they're in real trouble. They miraculously earned a draw with Somerset but could easily have lost all 4 this season which is the same amount of games they lost all of last season.

I have a lot of time for the clubs that aren't the big city charlies who make a fist of the league most years with limited resources.

Big relief to get that first win on the board on a very difficult pitch. Much needed and after all the injuries we have had hopefully this kick starts our season .......well done lads..

Do we know that’s why? Sounded reasonable when I read it But we don’t know that’s what Happened for sure
