Best back four and goalkeeper for SAFC in your lifetime?

Whey

Winger
Probably a hard question depending on when you started being a supporter.

Now I've started making the thread, I'm probably going to stuff this tbh and will probably get pelters for mine

Sorensen

Arca
Brown
Bould (wasn't here long but was quality)
Makin

Almost all from the same timeframe.

Pickford is probably better than Sorensen was but based on games for us it would have to be Sorensen.
Right back is tricky, we haven’t really been blessed there for a long time but it’s probably Venison.
Left back has much more competition. Personally I loved Scott but realistically difficult to see past Mickey Gray.
I’d agree on Bould. Other centre half more difficult but I’d probably go Mensah. We’d need good reliable competition for those two though so I’d want Craddock and Bennett in the squad.

Makin is the best right back in my lifetime I'd say. Very solid. He had the best of his career here as well.

You could argue a few had their best here tbh Rae, Alan Johnson. After here they kind of fizzled out.
Turner
Kay Bennett Elliott Gray
I probably should've pick Benno over Brown. Balls

Have only included those I saw for us. In my lifetime, who I saw for other clubs, Todd knocks out Elliott.

Right back is hard. Have a soft spot for Whitworth. Burley was excellent for Ipswich and you could see his class but his legs were pretty much gone by the time we got him. Makin in our best side in recent years. Malone was my first right back and loved him on the charge.
