You can definitely question his attitude. No doubt about that. This whole business has definitely affected him, but he is gonna be a class player imho.
He’s had more dogshit games for the first team than quality. He has had 2 games where he was undeniably good. I’ve been a fan of his all the way through the academy but this is a big step up…potential is not enough. You’ve got to have heart and guts…he is showing neither with his abject performances and apparent lack of care. All the more weird given his supposed support of Sunderland.Another jilted baby. He has been absolutely quality for years( youths and reserves). Was quality when he 1st burst onto the 1st team scene. Everyone was raving about him. Now when he signs for someone else he is suddenly shit. It's crazy man. People need to grow up. This is gonna happen to us, it's 'the model' now.
...other way round....he isn't trying but is good enough.I think Watson is trying but he isn’t good enough. He looks exactly what he is a teenager who has only started a few first team games. Looks way off.
Reggie selects him week after week despite seeing this, it’s not all Watson’s fault he’s getting picked, he should never be in the squad now.Fans demand a good attitude and 100% on the pitch, Watson had neither the other day. He should be embarrassed, and hopefully the other players told him that.
I think he has the potential to be good enough based on his performances before his injury, but his attitude and commitment to the cause should have him back in the U21s and one of the younger lads promoted to get a few minutes....other way round....he isn't trying but is good enough.

The manager obviously thinks he’s the solution on the left, and as he’s far far better than me at this managing malarkey I’m assuming he knows best and so will support the player and the shirt he’s wearing.Reggie selects him week after week despite seeing this, it’s not all Watson’s fault he’s getting picked, he should never be in the squad now.
I think le bris is just using Watson for minutes saved on other players. When we have the semi final in a few weeks time he will be nowhere near the team. He’ll play le fee on the left if mundle isn’t back when it really mattersI agree he shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad, but when he is picked that isn’t the attitude that fans will accept. He’ll see that tomorrow imo if there’s a repeat
That experiment should be over now…send him on his holidaysI think le bris is just using Watson for minutes saved on other players. When we have the semi final in a few weeks time he will be nowhere near the team. He’ll play le fee on the left if mundle isn’t back when it really matters
I don't even think any of the other younger lads need promoting...Just play Aleksic there for few games or Isidor.I think he has the potential to be good enough based on his performances before his injury, but his attitude and commitment to the cause should have him back in the U21s and one of the younger lads promoted to get a few minutes.
As long as he has a contract and is getting paid, he should be available to play and to give his upmost in every minute he does.Reggie selects him week after week despite seeing this, it’s not all Watson’s fault he’s getting picked, he should never be in the squad now.
Watson will be used in the playoffs, it might me as an impact sub, but he will be used.I think le bris is just using Watson for minutes saved on other players. Unless they sell a few I think he gets nowhere near their first teamI think he has the potential to be good enough based on his performances before his injury, but his attitude and commitment to the cause should have him back in the U21s and one of the younger lads promoted to get a few minutes.
After the Bristol performance it would be ridiculous to use himWatson will be used in the playoffs, it might me as an impact sub, but he will be used.
It’s obvious that’s why he’s getting the minutes on the pitch.
So you believe if he’s picked to start tomorrow he might play better than he has recently?I agree he shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad, but when he is picked that isn’t the attitude that fans will accept. He’ll see that tomorrow imo if there’s a repeat
Mayenda for me…or Le Fee or Isidor (in that order)People are assuming Mundle will be back by the play offs. Time is running out for the likes of him and Cirkin, they need competitive minutes asap.
If Mundle doesn’t make it, if we don’t think Watson is the answer do we go back to le fee, or is it Mayenda who hasn’t been great there. Or do we switch Roberts and play Mayenda on the right, perhaps Wilson plays there.
We’re in a bit of a mess if we don’t know our starting eleven at this stage the one thing the dead rubber games should be resolving that. There’s still some time but May 9th will be upon us before we know it.
Reggie has made a mess of this, we are all over the place now, sleepwalking into the play offs gambling that the form we have now will get better, hopefully he’s correct and I’m wrong. We’re in a bit of a mess if we don’t know our starting eleven at this stage the one thing the dead rubber games should be resolving that. His few performances in November were a lot better than half decent mate. I have watched him in the reserves/youth team loads n'all, where he was easily the best player on the pitch many a time. I mean, I wonder what Regis and Brighton see in him,eh? He is rubbish, according to all the jilted lovers on here.
I get why we are angry but let's not rewrite history,he was the best thing since sliced bread before all of this. He's gone to Brighton as they really wanted him, if he was a bang average championship player then they wouldn't be in for him. The split side is that he also must be looking around and seeing what we are doing and thinking fuck this.
