Why should we? He's decided to jump ship that's his problem.

If he played yesterday then the management would've got the abuse instead and why should they to protect a Brighton player.

I have no idea. It baffles me cos he isn't interested, you can see clearly.

Could there be some daft in the contract of sale where we HAVE to play him to bring him on more for the rest of the season??! Surely not...but you never know! What I do now is we've had their pants down for 10mil as he's miles off.

He is going to be a quality player imo. No way is Le Bris keeping Watson on the pitch or even picking Watson to start, no way. Got to be other factors influencing this.

Maybe it is as simple as just resting others then. I am undecided on his ability, I think he will be good, but I fear this move could hinder what could have been class development for him. He may thrive and be unreal, not really fussed I suppose now, he's made his decision (or his lasses w*nker of a dad has) ..so it's done!

the more I think about it, the more sensible this is. It has to be as simple as RLB keeping his best players fit for these critical games coming up.

Aleksic can play from the left aswel mate. We signed Isidor as a left sided player aswel. That's why I'm baffled Le Bris didn't take him off, as Watson wasn't even tracking back or even attempting to put a tackle in. No way is Le Bris making this call regarding Watson imo.

I disagree. We have no goals in the team apart from Mayenda, we need to get Isidor in somehow and get him firing again, it's not going to happen with him getting splinters up his arse on the bench.

There is a big difference between not playing at full throttle for 90 minutes but still working hard for the team, and Tommy Watson’s performance yesterday! He was appalling. Rigg hasn’t played well for ages but I would suggest no one would question his effort or attitude. Not so for young Tommy. We may not be professional footballers but we can all tell when a player isn’t committed…whether it’s on the local park on a Sunday morning or wearing the red and white.

Never understand why the club announced Watson already sold to Brighton which, as some have said, will attract extra focus on the way he plays or dosnt play or make effort.

I hope RLB does the right thing and drops him based on that performance at Bristol but fans need to remember ( Those saying hes being paid a wage ) The Club sold him for £10,000,000 so the lad will cover his costs and at his age he should not be put in the current situation.

Did Brighton not announce it so the club had no other option

I heard it was Watson s side or Brighton that leaked it.

Apparently we were fuming.

I’d have him nowhere near the dressing room personally .
