Starting Harrison Jones ahead of Aleksic today is hilarious. Best chance we've got of going up is Le Fee and Isidor forming a partnership and he's gonna wait until the first leg to play it.

Never seen a good Sunderland team play a style of football this f***ing shit before. A chore to watch us play and has been for most of the season, people kidding themselves if they're blaming injuries or saying we're just seeing the season out.

That f***ing stupid role he had Jones in today that Rigg's been playing most of the season has us playing with ten men. Absolute dross.

You’ve got to admit today was a disgrace and why is RLB resting players when we are still in touching distance of the automatic promotion spots. A lot have seen him for what he is. He plays it too safe and is a gutless manager.

If he fails to get us promoted this year via the playoffs then he need to be sacked.

We aren’t going to get there though.

Imagine the stick if we went full strength and notched up another 3/4 injury’s to the already depleted squad. People would be saying what the fuck is he doing.

And sack him after the season we’ve had with the injury crisis we’ve had all season, no chance
 
I was there today and yes it's frustrating.

But they're essentially pre season friendlies man. He's resting players, rotating, trying new things out.

Only 2 (or 3) games that matter this season from now. You can't replicate a game with some jeopardy if it isn't there.

Find it slightly funny that we're hearing from certain quarters that In the run up to the playoffs that this is all fine, completely ignoring the fact that in the main, we've been playing this turgid, uninspiring, slow & lack of ideas manner for f***ing months!

I don't think people are too concerned about the 11 he picks till the play offs, nor the results tbh
I think many are concerned as they can't see how, once we're in the playoffs we suddenly change style, up a gear and have any actual idea what we're doing!

That speed and style of play is how we have been playing for months. Its reggies style.

What is crazy imo is how often the worst passer of the ball (patterson) gets to try and play the ball to the widemen and start an attack. I just dont get it. He's in goal for a reason, stop passing him the ball!

It's the new way playing it out from the back it's awful
 
Just wondering what the formula is for this team to go from slow back pass football to intense forward play at pace. The pace has been sucked out of this team with this side pass ,pass back to goal routine. When are we going to change the team and formation to suit for play off final if we get there. Too slow,too boring and far too predictable. Time is running out to change. :rolleyes:

We pass it around for fun at the back and then ultimately lump it up top to no fucker

I get the resting rotation thing, but what new things is he trying out? How to play negative boring as fuck football.
