[Sea to Shining Sea]

Deserved away win. Came with good intent, passed it better than us, created the better chances of the two teams.

Another binary scoreline for us. Another game where we exerted no real control at any stage of the fixture. Passive, ponderous, lacking threat or ideas. Unless there is an isolated moment of magic from us, there’s nothing.

Yet somehow we could still go up.

I’ve never seen such an obvious downing of tools by what are a decent side. I’ve seen it in the 15/19 pt seasons but there is just no excuse for these insipid performances

Eh? We've played like this for most of the season bar the first quarter when we actually played good stuff.

See my previous post. Short version, we've been defensively sound(aside from Coventry) and we've taken 14 from our previous 7 matches before today. There are obvious red flags(lack of attackers putting the ball in the net) but this is why you start tinkering now - perhaps somebody who hasn't been a regular can provide a spark. Maybe not, maybe we'll crash out of the playoffs in the first round - really, who the hell knows?

Should have persisted with mayenda upfront, isodore offers absolutely nothing.

Mayenda offers more in general play but he's very rash in the box. The truth is we give them absolutely no service, top end of the pitch for too long has been appalling. We got by earlier in the season by quick breaks and tempo and being direct when we turned over possesion. But we haven't got any tempo to us now.

Absolutely f**king apalling performance! Most of those players should be ashamed, so what we are in the playoffs the players should still play well and get some good form. Play like that in the playoff semi final and we will have no chance of getting to the play off final.
