*~*~* Sunderland v Swansea match thread *~*~*

Impossible to say that Le Bris has done anything other than an excellent job this season but the ultra-defensive brand of football we've played in recent months has been beyond brutal to watch. This is Martin O'Neill levels of turgid.
What's most worrying is that he might not have been behind the unbelievable start we had...

Everyone knows it makes sense to coast and avoid injuries or intensity. But no one can moan when the play is boring and slow. Worse still Swansea have nothing to play for so the type of game was totally predictable.

We have a month to wait to see if RLB and the players can flick a switch in a month’s time.

Looks like the lads have been told no pressure just enjoy the game, this is about fitness now and frankly… I’m not too concerned about that. Thinking we should be using these games now like a pre season for conditioning

Night and day to when he first took over

They look sharp, energetic, aggressive both on and off the ball. We on other hand have been slow, sloppy and lacking any real intent so far. Still 0-0 though and we can only improve as the game goes on hopefully.
