Jack Clarke

He just isn’t very effective for them is he?

0 goals & 3 assists in the premier league. Hasn’t made a quality impact at all.

It’s either the way they play him or the fact he’s struggling with the step up in ability, either way - he’s not looking premier league quality.

Didn’t even get on today as Ipswich slipped closer to the drop.

Will no doubt be strutting his stuff in the Championship once again next season.

What a waste of a year for him and his development.
But an excellent year for his bank balance & an opportunity to play in the Premier League.

I cannot understand why any fan is obsessing over him leaving. Quite frankly it is pathetic.

Development? He's 24 now man, he won't develop anymore that's it's for him , he'll be one of the best in the championship or league 1for the rest of his career. Can't get a game for Ipswich and they are quite frankly pathetic

This. It was an awful move for him. As you say, he’ll be one of the best in the Championship next season then they’ll get rid

Not sure there's many players would turn down a PL club offering them x3 wages. Worst case scenario you're back where you started 6 months later. Good luck to him.

He's a brilliant Championship player but I don't think there'll be many PL clubs looking at him in future. Mundle has the physicality to cause those teams more problems, even if he hasn't got Clarke's finesse in the box.

A players peak is 27/28 - 31/32

Passing a comment on his career is hardly obsessing marra.

He was well liked here, and his move has proved a bad one for him.

For what he did for us, I still care about the lad, and a lot of people do.

It's a football forum, and open to discussion about ex players.

If you find that pathetic, you might be in the wrong place mate.

Depends on the player to be fair. Plenty peak young, especially if they rely on pace.

50/50 he ever knocks in more than 15 goals in the Championship again like he did for us and I doubt he'll have an extensive PL career.

I don't quite understand "development".. I think the reason we let him go is he is developed. Very good player but even more questions about if he can cut it in the top flight

He has earned a lot of cash this year and while it hasn't worked for him, I don't think it ever will in the formation Ipswich play as it nullifies him.

He may well get another crack at the Premier League (if one of the promoted sides takes a chance)... or the Premiership up north at the end of his contract.
