Thought he was their best batsman when I was there yesterday. He should’ve left the ball that got him out but he was pretty much chance-less before that and seemed to play Pottsy with ease. Slater may have gotten 90 odd but he played and missed a lot early on and there was a delivery that I think he edged but was given not out by the umpire with Durham appealing strongly. Could hear the nick from where I was sitting. Guess the umpire thought it was pad.
