I would now as well. It doesn’t really matter what the results are now but we need to protect others from injury and Le Fee needs to be through the middle.I'd play him, would have been rotating him with Mundle anyway. If he's fit then get him involved.
Of course they did. Player allowing his contract to run down and his value reducing by the week. Add into that the club still not financially stable, impossible to turn down! The club didn't have to accept the bid
Ask yourself why it's been announced now and why we've done a deal now instead of waiting to see if we go up.He should get his chance now Mundle is out. I don’t get the “don’t play him cos he’s leaving” argument. By that rationale we shouldn’t play Mepham/Samed/Le Fee/Danns.
Real shame we never got to see Mundle and Le Fee in the same team.
He ll be too busy house hunting with Miss Harte and spending his moneyAsk yourself why it's been announced now and why we've done a deal now instead of waiting to see if we go up.
The lad doesn't want to be here and has clearly told the club he doesn't want to be. I wouldn't be surprised if his effort has dropped right off.
The fact he didn't come on today when mundle was crocked is very telling. He ll be too busy house hunting with Miss Harte and spending his money
Aye.The fact he didn't come on today when mundle was crocked is very telling.
Said the same when it happened wouldn’t even play him in u21s why block another youngsters developmentI would just leave him out totally, develop our own players
Tbf he's been below par since returningI'm torn on this. If we have someone capable to come in now, and play ahead of Watson and keep Le Fee central then I'm all for it. Doubt we have though.
Unfortunately, this is the model. Doesn't look good on us if we spit our dummies out, everytime we agree to let a player go, regardless of the timing. We sign young players and we tell them this is the goal. Play for us, do well and you'll end up moving on to bigger things. Can't just "LET THEM ROT!!" when it actually happens.
If he wants to play and be committed until he does leave, then he has my blessing.
If he has Brighton pyjamas already, then his head might be elsewhere.
Hes not as good as Mundle, and i agree, hasn't been great. Decent back up. Was never really bothered when he was rumoured to be leaving. Its a good deal. Still a Sunderland player, in a fashion. I would of had no issue if he came on today.Tbf he's been below par since returning
If he is instrumental in getting us promoted i wouldn't care lessHes not as good as Mundle, and i agree, hasn't been great. Decent back up. With his contract going into final 2 years and not wanting to sign on I do believe he forced the clubs hand. The club didn't have to accept the bid
Your rationale makes no sense with Mepham and Le Fée as both will be here if we go up.He should get his chance now Mundle is out. I don’t get the “don’t play him cos he’s leaving” argument. By that rationale we shouldn’t play Mepham/Samed/Le Fee/Danns.

I watched then highlights of the Bundesliga on Sky and it happens quite a lot over there. Normally someone who's having a decent season joining Bayern at the end of the season.Aye.
I’m sure it’s bee covered somewhere in the previous 300+ pages which I can’t be bothered to trawl through, but how did this happen out of window? I thought there was some sort of rule that players couldn’t be approached and certainly couldn’t sign outside the window - the whole purpose being not to unsettle a squad mid season and not to have ‘lame duck’ players cluttering up the squads and potentially causing unrest in the dressing room when they’re already mentally checked out.
If this is going to be a common thing then it makes the transfer window utterly pointless a meringue?
