Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)


I was told this just before the deal fell through in January which I posted at the time
Been told he's getting a 10 percent of the transfer fee signing on fee from Brighton so 1 million which is massive to a young kid
 
Didn’t he fuck about when he signed his contract last time ? He was never signing another contract here, anything north of 10 million is very good business
 
Looked like a completion winner in a couple of games but then showed promise in others.

Good deal for the club.
 
On the one hand ten million seems very good money for a player who’s played less than 20 first team games and not done all that much in them. On the other hand, he’s a young lad that has a lot of potential. Overall I just feel we sell our players a bit cheap - if someone like Bellingham, Rigg or Neil goes for less than £40 million this summer, we’re doing something wrong.
