Mundle ahead of him, Mundle better player currently so maybe he sees his options limited and the chance to play for a decent Prem club where he will be given opportunities. If fee decent then it’s good for all parties. The shit local lads get for having poor spells probably played a part and will develop better elsewhere.

He's got one year left on his deal and they can't/won't agree a new one, it seems pretty straightforward.
 
I genuinely think we need to start covering ourselves with these players, e.g they sign a pro contract, that entails them to a pro contract for however long, but if they play a certain amount of games that it automatically gets extended by so many years.

10 million is chump change nowadays for a exciting English talent, this is a bad deal , put it in context we spent 3.5 on Rusyn

Cannon is a striker and based on games to goals, he would be a 20goal player in theory. Thats probably why he was that much. Watson has hardly played. If the sell-on or add-ons are decent, then it might not be a terrible deal. As i said before, i would be shocked/worried if we spent 10m on a player with similar appearances
 
Wouldn’t bother playing him anymore this season personally, he’s been poor since coming back from injury anyways, probably disinterested and clearly didn’t want to be here anymore.

That's only part of it though. We buy for 1 mill then sell for 10. Which allows us to start buying for 5 and selling for 20.

Our approach is not to keep buying on the cheap and sell. It's to grow organically.
