Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Timing is absolutely mental and benefits no-one. How many clubs announce signings outside of the window man?
Now if he does play (Mundle can’t be expected to play every minute of the remaining games) he’s going to have fans on his back and will likely look half arsed as he knows a move is coming.
Agree.
All I can think is that the papers have hold of it and it's a pre-emptive strike from the club?

It won’t damage their budget so they won’t care but he’s worth half that max, the rest is potential. No doubt they’re a great location for him, and if he can kick on he’ll do it somewhere like Brighton IMO. I wish him the best. Good deal for both clubs and player.

I suppose its the same as having him on loan? The deal will be signed and done now. I really think the timing of this is bizarre, but i guess if he does play and did get injured he still gets his move as its all sealed?
