Look North. Again.

To be fair I have just seen the sport on Look North and the football was dominated by regional clubs other than Newcastle United. Their coverage and the hype around us and our promotion push was much more than Tyne Tees.

Bizarre, the sports coverage about teams who actually played. The mags prob thought that everything else stopped last weekend and the whole country was watching their bus trip. Sorry for being flippant but they could hardly do the sport and not mention Sunderland, Boro etc.

The last bit is not really true. We still get BBC Newcastle down where I am living these days which is past theirs and into solidly Leeds United territory. They have a transmitter on the top near Thirsk.
I didn't know that Fleagle. You get my drift though.

The regional BBC news this morning talked of hundreds of thousands on the streets, then said 150k estimated. Then had Beheddie saying he'd like to win more trophies.

Given it was from a parade on Saturday I'm not sure why if was featured at all as it certainly wasn't news.

They reckoned 300,000.

On the subject of the Regional news I've managed to avoid it for over a fortnight now.

Couldn't they? They have managed it the last 2-3 weeks. Newcastle United are clearly their priority. They are clearly more important.

I would dearly love a Sunderland v Middlesbrough EFL Championship Play-Off Final just because for a day or two at least Newcastle United would have to take a back seat.
