Dan Neil

Three in one go is a bit of a concern in my opinion. Yer right though...chance for some serious money and some squad building. But its also keeping the seemingly good atmosphere we have in the dressing room. Anyway if deals are done hope they are quick.
Who said 3 are going though? They seem to let one good player a year go. I don't think the owners that stupid to get rid of everyone at once.

If the 3 were to go we could make some quality additions for that.

Agree with keeping the atmosphere & getting deals done early. 👍

I would personally love to see Neil sign a new contract this summer. It's not often you get academy lads make it to the first team and stay there so it's great when it happens.
Having said that, if the summer comes and contract talks aren't progressing as well as we'd hoped - i'd happily take £15m. Great sale for FFP purposes with him being homegrown, and we'd have funds to find a quality replacement. And who knows, if roma want to use that to do a deal for Enzo then i'd be willing to listen

15m isn't too bad a price if we don't go up. Cirkin will likely follow suit due to his contract, and I'd imagine some of the players who've been here a while, the likes of Hume will be tempted with clubs being interested.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jobe's parents have a mutual agreement that if a big club comes in and the offer is a fair one, Jobe can move on. It also looks obvious that there's going to be solid interest in Rigg too, which may bring about an offer the club can't turn down.

Given that we really didn't push the boat out in January to remain in the battle for the automatic promotion, I'm thinking the club are already planning for losing a few of those names above.

One bad game and this place wants him peddled?

How is that going to work if we are down here and Bellingham has left, while we’re being offered crazy money for Rigg?

Building the whole midfield from scratch will set us back at least a season.

We need to keep Neil.

He’ll be peddled because he won’t sign if we don’t go up

That’s his decision and fair enough if he’s got aspirations, at least it isn’t on a free

That’s down to speakman letting players contracts run down. It’s clear Neil is waiting to see what happens we get promoted he stays we dont go up he be away

Possibly the worst performance I have seen since Lee Cattermole decide to wheel out a conveyor belt of shit in the championship.

Love the lad and that but is it time to start reevaluating what some of us think he will become?

Every time he plays against a higher league opponent he has been bossed, long gone are the days of defence splitting passes.

Or is it just a case of it being a fine line between calm and composed v being lackadaisical and unable to control and pass?
He's been class for us, you cant expect a player play very good every match. Against coventry, he was all over the place cos coventry noticed that Dan neil is our key player for our system. We need to find a way to protect Dan Neil. He was superb at the start of the season, his assist for Wilson's volley goal is suplime! Ever since, he hasnt done that lately. Maybe he needed a rest.

I of course respect your opinion but would disagree he was superb at the start of the season or is good enough to warrant protecting. I dont expect a player to play well every week but i do expect our captain to not fall to the level he did as a one off, I also would have expected him to have had a better season as opposed to the few standout performances he has produced.

Im not for a minute suggesting he isnt a good championship player, only that I had expected him to be of a better level at this point in his career, if that warrents further thought into why, If my assesment was wrong or im just outright wrong that he is a good championship player, I dont know.

He’s had a few more bad games than one. If 15 million is up for grabs for Neil it is extremely good business.

All three won’t go. We are building not selling the lot.

Bellingham is definitely off.

So you want to sell Neil.

That means resisting an absolute feeding frenzy for Rigg, who is the least senior anyway.

It’s not good.
