Forthcoming gigs.

I've used Twickets to buy and sell in the past although I generally get my tickets well in advance. I have always paid full price for the ticket which to me is fair enough. Some cheeky, tight arse bastard offered me £7.50 for a £15 ticket. I would rather have not sold it than let them have it for £7.50.
Ah, so is it like a bidding site? Thought it was just someone hoyed tickets on at a tenner a piece cos they couldn’t go.

No. You can either sell for the price you paid for the ticket, discount that price a little to attempt to get a buyer at the lower price or list it for the price paid but add you are accepting offers which you can decline if someone takes the piss.

Off to see The Corrs again next Friday at the Royal Albert Hall which is a bucket list venue for me. Rumours of Fleetwood Mac in April. Stereophonics, Script, Texas, The Corrs, ELO twice, Linkin Park all booked for the summer.

Wish I was going like. Obviously Jonny Rotten was a major part of it, but Frank Carter is a canny option to sing. As long as people aren’t try to compare the two, cos it’s impossible for Carter to win that.
Seats aren't that good like..in the choir bit behind Steve Jones..was all that was left.

Was a cracking little gig. Didn't mind the lager tbh. Managed a swift 4 pints before we went on our merry way.
First band I'd seen at Pop Recs and I was impressed ...band were good and the crowd were up for it. Think Sonya was impressed by the atmosphere at an afternoon gig.

Had a couple of Vaux Pales in the Bridge Hotel and a couple in Diego's pre gig, where different young uns from The Bunker were playing.

Aye, same. Done a cracking job of the place. Afternoon gigs are a good idea like. Hopefully more to come.

I’m doing that in a few weeks. Don’t think it’s the Bunker, but my friends Son is playing. Heading round to Pop Recs after for Supersuckers.

Been a few now. Tom A Smith, Bootleg Blondie & more I’ve forgot. Usually bashed up as family friendly I think, which is great, as my daughter is getting right into it now.

Not sure how feasible it is, but if there’s bigger gigs on in Newcastle, can you get a smaller matinee show on in Pop Recs on the same day, I’d imagine a few things would have to fit to make it happen, but could be a great way of getting more bands on.

Do you do many gigs cheap by using Twickets? We usually get ours well in advance & there’s not many sold out gigs, but will it be worth me checking there if I’m tagging along at the last minute for cheap tickets?
I have had a fair few. I put in cheeky offers and they are often accepted. If I was tagging along I would always use Twickets last minute. Only issue is the tickets vanish in the afternoon of a gig. So don’t leave it too late.
