As a proper amateur engineering geek it's been great watching the thing go up. Because I pass it very regularly I feel a bit of connection to it, unlike the Northern Spire. Cos of its location there's lots of excellent vantage points to see it going up too.

Looks like all the infills are well on for completion.....this looks like it will deffo be ready for the summer, the bridge was full of hi viz over the weekend

through the framework creating a much needed connection for the city. The innovative design used for the temporary works is fantastic, and the scale of the structure is truly impressive.

Really nice to meet all of the team and see a few familiar faces!
