Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

I don't like the look of his neck in those training photos. Summat looks wrong to me. Ah, I figured it out...

His head has definitely been turned.

Back full training this week with the squad

Whats odd about adding a post about Watson to the Watson thread

Bench on Friday?

Don't think he'll play a minute even if the manager wants to play him ahead of someone else.

Just been looking around the internet at players who broke their leg, the timeframe from returning to the training pitch and then playing, and the rehabilitation process they have to go through during that period. I now understand why Browne hasn't played a minute since returning to training.

On Watson, was the exact nature of his injury ever made public? I know knee and ankle injuries but that's it. Given he was out for so long before returning to training, you'd have to say it was serious, as serious as Browne's broken leg. I'd make a guess that Watson still has quite a bit of rehabilitation to go through with physios and the like and we won't see him play in the next 20 days at least.

Browne played 45 minutes for the under 21s a couple of weeks ago.
