The state of our club

Shit atmosphere, even worse performance. The club is an absolute mess from top to bottom, we’ve got no chance of automatic promotion and even when we play in the playoffs we will get thrashed by Burnley or even Coventry. Then our best players will leave and we will be back at square one next season, just end the season now. Our club is finished

Always look on the bright side of life
I've just burst out laughing

You have a post that says you wouldn't mind being in league 1, as we would win games more consistently. Could you reconcile your OP to your earlier outlook?

When we were mid table aye now that we’ve been flirting with promotion and once again blew it away I see no reason to be optimistic, couple that with the fact we’ve got the worst atmosphere in the league, I have come to the conclusion that we’re an absolute mess

So you'd rather the club be in League 1, than comfortably in the play-offs, striving for the premier league, and view our position as "finished" .

I am afraid earlier remarks about you being a Newcastle fan, a "Wanna be" wind up merchant , or ultimately thick, are all gaining credibility.

People don’t like to hear the truth
If we’re a mess then what are the other 20 clubs below us?
They’re not as big as us

Gravy alert.

During any game where we are playing badly. This is how I feel.

Difference between you and me is, and hour after the game... I'm looking at that table and thinking that at the start of the season, all I wanted was us mathematically safe with 5 games to go, and the dream was that we might scrape into the playoffs.

What will be will be, but f***ing hell, if you think think this is a club that's finished, your on another planet.

Is this the same poster from 8 days ago? Surely not? 🤪

Would beat the mags, now hear me out before anyone calls me crazy I think everyone knows that the mags have been EXTREMELY lucky this season if it wasn’t for Isak finding form then I find it hard to believe they would be anywhere above mid table, just look where they were 10 games ago. Couple this with the fact our lads have been playing incredible, we have an exciting young team that has improved massively from last season I genuinely believe if we somehow did play them this season at the stadium of light with 48k of us cheering the lads on they would fold under the pressure. Yes, we lost to them last season but that was last year and circumstances were different.
