If we want an automatic promotion spot next year then we can’t be sentimental.

Patterson, O’Nien aren’t good enough.
We need cover at fullback.
Cover/options for Roberts but we haven’t seen enough of poveda.
Another goal scoring option.

At this point of the season we need to evaluate other players.
 
In the Leeds match, as well as their second goal, he could have cleared the danger if he had come off his line for their first goal. Regularly he stays glued to his line when he could easily clear the danger.

For that goal today, he has to shout or clatter Roberts, all the fault is on Patterson.

He’s far too timid and quiet for a keeper, which also doesn’t inspire confidence for this in front of him.

He’ll be the difference between us and promotion, automatically or via the playoffs this season.

I’ve said ever since he came into the first team a few seasons ago that he’s not good enough. If he wasn’t local and young, I think we’d have moved on from him a while ago.
