Young Musicians Project receives funding boost to foster Sunderland's musical talent.
The award is for three years.

Based in Sunniside, the YMP project gives 13-19-year-olds the opportunity to work with professional musicians to write songs and music and grow their skills.

Yes, Getdown Services were really just two blokes from Bristol dicking about - entertaining.

I struggled with Bug Club. They weren't working for me until two songs from the end and I decided I was enjoying myself. I thought their first encore, the new song where the lass had to sing from the written lyrics, was the best thing they did.

I said this morning that they took ages to grow on me. The first half was very samey and not that exciting, the last 15 mins was awesome and the one she read off the sheet was class
