I used to wonder why he wouldn’t improve on his distribution or coming for crosses as he got older. These are things you can work hard on and improve. Then I look at his figure and his belly hanging out his shirt and just think he’s probably really unprofessional and not arsed.
 
In 95, Peter Reid had the bottle to decide Alec Chamberlain wasn't up too it and replaced him with a young lad who was outstanding in us winning the league. Footballs a completely different game now, but I think maybe a GK change for the better, both in area dominance and footwork could have been made in Jan.
 
We could do much worse than Patto.

He should’ve done better for their second goal.

Until he commands his area and improves his distribution he’ll never be a top top keeper.

This is a shame too. As he has all the tools to do it.
 
Have to agree.

The lad has got better over the years, but only in the thing he was always good at: shot stopping.

He is not good at handling crosses and his distribution isn’t good enough for a team like us.

The second goal was his fault.

I don’t think we should get the pitchforks out. But it was.

Modern keepers have to be slim and nimble and be able to come off there line quick. Why of all the sides in top 6 have we got Neville f***ing southall
