There's a whole miserable thread of this 'serious questions' nonsense. Roberts is a better player than Mayenda, espeçially out wide. Mayenda up top with Rigg having a breather might make more sense.

Mayenda seems to play Wilson in on goal every time he plays.

A bloke who moves up the pitch during attacking play wait for opposition to get back and defend and then pass the ball back to the goalkeeper when not pressured

This. He limped off in our last game with only 3 clear days between. Ballard is a good defender and we were all haloy with him until Mepham came in. He will do the job and help make sure Mepham is fit for the rest of the season.
