The club’s looking to go into the prem. The club will be looking at which are prem league quality otherwise they’ll be moved on at this age.

I think the club should also be looking at who they could sell on rather than just releasing at the end of the contract. That why I think it'd important we loan out young lads at an early age, get them exposure to mens football, make them more attractive to other clubs.

I see your point but for many it would cost you more in wages than you might get as a transfer fee- presumably anyway. Take Caden Kelly, no one is going to pay a fee of more than £50 grand for him, even if he had ten years on his contract let alone months.

Hardly any money moves hands below the championship bar a few outliers like Wrexham and Birmingham.
