Nope last World Cup showed Australia are still the team to beatTerrible tour up to now.
Has to be said though India are a brilliant white ball cricket team by far away the best in the world.
Already had good sides but the depth due to the growth of the IPL and talent coming through is never ending.
A couple of our players would not make their third team
They are excellent.Terrible tour up to now.

India a better side imo, and played the far better cricket over the course of that tournament.Nope last World Cup showed Australia are still the team to beat
Yeah they have definitely underachieved when it has counted in the big games that’s a fair observation.By far and away is pushing it. They’ve not won the World Cup since 2011
Why not. He's not keeping wicket and still can't inspire anyone.Tempted to press the panic button and bin Buttler the captain before champions trophy
Really thought Brook did a good job before, Root could do it for the tournamentThey are going to knock these off in less than 40 overs.

Not sure who would step up though?
Root would be my short term pick.Really thought Brook did a good job before, Root could do it for the tournament
Tempted to press the panic button and bin Buttler the captain and McCullum before champions trophy
This. Not all Buttler’s fault, but he’s just uninspiring. Let him focus on batting and give it to someone else. Probably Brook or Duckett.Tempted to press the panic button and bin Buttler the captain before champions trophy
I was just saying the same. Can't see us winning with his insipid captaincy.Tempted to press the panic button and bin Buttler the captain before champions trophy
Spinners weren't the issue. Livingston could have bowled 10 easily enough, he was only going just over 4 an over. Root there for back up too.I struggle to understand Mcullums strategy when playing in conditions which dictate two front line spinners

The batting was the issue. We've gone into the series with only one spare batter with Smith injured for 2 of the 3 games! He should have been sent home and replaced. Then Bethell has been injured and we replaced him with Overton who isn't an all rounder.
With the existing squad the only thing we could have done is drop Mahmood who is a number 11 and played Carse who can bat a bit.
Root played his normal acculation game which he's been picked to do but Brook was scoring more slowly at the other end. He was going at less than 60 per 100 balls when he should have been around 100 at least. We basically (nearly) saw out the overs instead of going for a competitive total.
We put ourselves in a position of expecting Buttler or Livingston to score heavily at about 150+ which was too big an ask.
Brook's passive innings lost us any chance of winning the game. It was obvious at the time, I called it out. The backroom team should have passed a message on to the pitch. I assume they stupidly thought it was OK?
