They let Williamson sign about a dozen players then gave him the boot. Mad way to run a club. They've thrown alot of cash at staying up and god knows how many players they have in the squad right now. I watched them against Bradford and they were shocking, so no surprise Williamson got the sack. I do hope they stop up, but I'll not hold my breath...
That’s why they’re doing so well.Didn’t know he left Bradford.
Is that right that Carlisle have relatively wealthy owners now
Embleton will have gone from championship to non-league player in about a year if they go down![]()
You mean mismanaged surely?Well, one of the few clubs he hasn't managed
Wasn't it someone on undr the cosh saying he was a right arsehole? Blanked the players etc?Personally thought he was decent at start of his career with Wales and Blackburn but gradually just gone downhill ever since, think he only went to League 2 (never done championship or league one despite all experience in prem) in first place as Bradford was a big job for the level but obviously having got potted there was gonna have to stick to lower leagues if he still wanted to manage
Someone's just said he was a great managerHorrendous manager. The worst in all my years watching City. Surpassed by Peter Taylor perhaps but he was abysmal. A crushingly boring approach to the game.
He used to be on local radio every single week claiming he'd had an official apology from the ref amid other nonsense. What a bellend he was. Never ever accepted owt was his fault. All I’ve ever noticed him do is piss and moan about referees.
