Alan Brazil talksport

Seen the video and its a poor look for him aswell. Bit shit to put the woman in that position on air aswell, sure her sister is a player.

So there is no interest in womens football. Really?
Outside of tournament, no, generally not.

It’s not

She forced a reference to Man Utd women and he had a different opinion

She then insulted him

They were talking about the man utd project which mentioned the women's team. I've got no issue with her mentioning that aspect of it, especially if she has some skin in the game and is a follower.

I'm not a fan of the women's game and have no opinion on her but his reaction has caused a pile on of her getting slagged and abused on social media from what I've seen and even some on here. From absolutely nothing.

He was referring to mission 21 being the priority and that is true. It also has nothing to do with the women.

It’s like saying there is interest in triple jumping
There have been some canny crowds at some games this year. You gave a low crowd dismissing the interest. So to say there is no interest in the woman's game is nonsense

He brought up priorities. They were just discussing the missions in general, which included the womens team.

The average is 6.5k, massively hiked by Arsenal who do have interest.

Would you say triple jumping is of interest?

He’s right. Mission 21 is the priority though. Massively so.

Yeah the top level of the womens game is that high a team of old welsh blokes embarassed the USA national team.

It’s miles and miles off the mens game.

My sons u12 team played girls academy u14 side and beat them 14-0 complete non event.

So he’s the B side taking over the A side, done his apprenticeship
Mates son is part of an under 10s league. Two lasses teams are in. Played them at the weekend. Finished 29 nowt.

Not sure what the point is mind as we all know lads are much better.

Badge of honour?? 😂😂

I have zero issue with women playing it but media coverage eclipses the actual popularity and product.

Then when you get someone calling it for what it is (Brazil) the usual misogynistic, sexist etc tropes get trotted out.

If I was constantly seeing, reading and hearing about carpet bowls I’d say that was nonsensical as well.
Just avoid the media outlets who you think over promote it then.
I haven't watched a woman's match the whole way through and can name only a few players so avoiding it is possible.

What's triple jumping got to do with anything?
It’s proving my point which you’re choosing to ignore.

It’s another sport with limited appeal and crowds but is massive in the Olympics.

Like women’s football. And bandminton. And 101 other sports.

I’m at my girls training now

It's not proving a point at all. Only in your mind it is . Do as many people go to watch triple jumping every week as go to watch women's football. Nope. Nowhere near. Incomparable

And she was referring to the side project that included the women. Its not a big deal and not worthy of going off on one.

I couldn't care less about the triple jump nonsense, its just him being an arse.
