Alan Brazil talksport

I cannot even see a problem with that. It would probably be pre game or halftime they would parade it. It wouldn't interfere with the actual game. What difference would it make to the matchday experience? You would have to be pretty mean spirited to not let the lasses parade a cup at a man's match. The hatred for women on here is nauseating.

What's towe?
The only way is Essex i believe.
i would have no objection to the lasses parading a cup by the way , as long as they dont start equating it to '73 .

Aaaah. You obviously know more about it than me. Back to your point. Are you really saying nobody actually likes eurovision, towe, or strictly, but they are being subliminally told to like it by sky, so end up liking it?

I cant see any other reason anyone would like that shit . We've got eurovision but no whistle test , weve got strictly but no actual ballroom championships , people will like any second rate shit they can talk about around the water cooler if its aired enough

They aren't on sky, are they?

Ah, yeah i can see the problem there, what with you being chained to your seat
Didn’t say I was but you said it’s not forced on anybody when it obviously is

There are more popular sports in the uk that don’t get the coverage women’s football does

I’d have more respect for the sport if what they did to Doncaster belles hadn’t happened

Additionally there seems to be a media correlation between the success of the men’s team at any club and the women’s teams - when in fact just because a player plays for man united women doesn’t mean Man Utd women are any good.

No mate theyre not .
Look , all im saying is in the main the vast majority of those who follow the mens game dont " give a stuff about the womens game " as Brazil says and have no desire to see it overlap their game.
Media in general can see an opportunity to expand viewing , advertisers and sponsors can see financial opportunities in getting into that exposed market by pushing it and piggy backing male footballs profile but that doesnt mean its any good or that those who already have the mens game will start to care about it .

Aaaaah, so there is interest in womens football. Cheers for that

What a surprise it's the OP rejoicing in an old fart saying women's football is pointless. Probably sitting in a Spoons on his own with one pint of Waggle Dance as well speak.

I don’t watch women’s football mind, not watched one match.

Nothing to do with anything other than there is far too much football on the telly full stop.
