What on earth on you on about. You're not making any sense, mate, with your unsubstantiated anecdotes about some lad in Scotland.
What on earth on you on about.
There’s a 16 year old who has signed for a championship club in Scotland on £500 a week.
You believe Tommy is on £600 a week![]()

Well I mean I would hardly likely to say that on here but aside from how or why I might know just common sense tells you he isn’t on 600 quid a week. When he signed his first deal he was an England age group international with strongly rumoured interest from a number of sides. He also took quite a while to sign it. I mean people slag agents off on here about him but if they let him sign for 600 a week then they should quit. It’s you that is adamant that he is on 600 a week. Why you so sure he is on 600 a week?Happy to be corrected. How do you know this?

There you goIt's not your 'common sense' that dictates how much players are paid. I've posted on here how much a player who has been in the squad once or twice can expect to earn when signing his first contract at a second division club.
Look it up. It's all there for you at a cursory google. In fact, look it up and if you can find anything that says different, post it here. Happy to be corrected.
So 18 years ago for a player who hadn’t yet made his debut, it’s 450 quid a week.
That contract is from 18 years ago to a non youth international with likely no other interest on a one year deal , who hadn’t made a first team debut and before Man City were rich.Reckon you've made my point. A young lad at a club like Man City, 450 quid a week. How much do you reckon Tommy Watson signed up to when he signed his contract in September 2023 at Sunderland. He was only in the squad 4 times that season, the first time was on the 20th September.

Le Fee in the middle too. Can't wait until he's back in the squad again hopefully soon, what a talent
Hopefully the £2 is spent on wages here. There's no way he'll go for £2 million at any point. Lots of other teams have shown am interest, not just Brighton.
You aren't fully quoting your crap source:According to websites he's being paid 600 quid a week. According to organisations that work with young players, like Football Academy and Player Scout, the wage for a player signing his first contract is between 350 quid and 1500 quid a week, the top clubs paying at the top end and those players who are near the first time, which Watson wasn't in September 2023, getting the most.
There's a bit of information there. If you think that your 'common sense' means they're wrong, that's fine, let's agree to disagree.
