Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

If Downie is right I can see the attraction for Watson but I’d imagine Adringa would take some convincing.

If he feels unwanted at Brighton I’d imagine there’ll be clubs higher up the food chain willing to take him.

If it doesn’t go through because of that Watson won’t have made himself popular here

Adingra will just be a loan. He might go along with that as he'd be first choice ahead of Mundle.

No the club and the lad must have both had offers they can't refuse. Dont blame him to be honest once in a lifetime offer for him probably. Good luck to the lad
...if he goes.
If an offer from Brighton is a once in a lifetime deal, then he's not as good as we thought, or they're going to ruin him.

Couldn't care less what happens to the lad once he leaves the club. Same as I've never cared how Clarke got on at Ipswich.

Thanks for your 500 minutes if that of service Tommy.

I know absolutely nothing on this, but I do think, as we've seen with Ross Stewart and then Clarke, the club will look to move players on if they're not going to tie down on longer term deals rather than get into the last year. The Ross Stewart one ended up being fantastic for us - but they'll look to avoid getting in similar situations again.

If there's anything in Watson leaving it's for this reason.
why is watsons refusal to sign contract getting traction?there is no evidence for this ! or is there?....daft folk are adding 2 plus 2 and getting a cabbage as the sum !Is this a leak ,from the club to spin the reason for the sale?....the best young talent in the division rigg (and watsons not far behind) is getting no stories of bids or possible sale in this window and thats because the club have obviously let it known that rigg is going nowhere .........

yet we get these stories about an injured kid with potential having 12 million bids turned down until they are of course reluctantly accepted! We need to try to hold onto our best players and watson is deffo one of those! Personally i will be disappointed if he goes but if its to fund a consolidated push on promotion well sometimes you just have to accept the realities of football and the limitations of your ownership group!

If we dont get promoted and watson is bandied around fo 30-40 million in 3 or 4 years time and funding Brightoms prem consolidation i think it will be seenas a terrible decision!

This is the big gamble on his side imo. He's clearly a very good player and should go on to do very well, but trying to force through a move at 18 years old after playing a handful of games would put off some suitors who recruit based on personality just as much as talent

I dont wanna lose Watson but Simon Adingra? Now we’re f***ing talking like.

Adingra and Le Fee in the same window for a Championship side is a fair bit better than I expected so if that happens then happy days.
All we'd need then is someone to actually put the ball in the net alongside Isador.
