He'd slot straight back in, as if he's just been out injured for few months. knows the club, knows the managers, and i'd pack Watson't bags myself if it meant we got Clarke back.

I suppose he'd get more game time here than there and would be ready to go for them in the championship next season, assuming that's where they end up.

Honestly a straight loan makes perfect sense for both. They are going down anyway so could do with him being in good form going into next season. I’ve honestly seen nothing to suggest I’d want to have him in the squad if we got promoted

Well I can’t judge him on anything else. Have we seen anything to suggest he could kick on in the prem. IMO it would need to be a top team who plays on the front foot to have any chance
