Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Do as I say, not as I do then.

Standard.

Bent left 2 weeks before the window closed.... if whatsoever goes it'll be about 24 hours. So the replacement craic doesn't wash.
So you’ve conveniently ignored the bit about Darren Bent being our star player.

Standard.

What does that bit in bold mean?

He has signed a pro deal and we offered a further new deal.
I was trying to use him of an example of what can happen. So basically he started at 7, what if he got to 18 on a scholarship and was then released. Is that fair or does owning something only go one way

If what is being reported is true then tale the money and let him go. The club can't be too worried about it, he's our second choice for that position currently and we've let Auchiche go so they must be cofident of a replacement.

Good as he's looked in a couple of games, he's not Chris Rigg level of quality and Mundle is the clear first choice.

Some people not wanting Clarke back and would rather keep Watson ffs. He's played a handful of games and looked good in a couple but out of his depth in the others. There may be an argument about who is the better long term prospect but Jack Clarke is much more suited to what we need right now. He was arguably the best player in the league before his move.

TW might be more bother than he's worth if he is indeed making the demands mentioned.

Ah right.

That example you’ve mentioned happens to a lot of young footballers at every club mind. It’s a brutal career.

And that’s why they’ve got to carefully decide these things. People dredging up that he was dragging his heels in signing his pro contract when he was probably just making sure he was given a good deal.

I know and you’re right it is. You ( I don’t mean you btw) can’t just have it that he owes Sunderland because he was developed here but Sunderland don’t owe him or other young players after what they have gave. Also works in the clubs favour anyway. If he leaves even at the end of his contract the club gets compensation, it the club sacks the player off they get a months money.

Why is Danny Graham advising our young players?

Hope there’s no one else being advised by that wanker.

(If there is, I love you Danny. Big hugs and kisses. Stop trying to sell our players). Xoxo
Graham works for the agency that represents Watson. Similar to how Harte works for the agency that represents Clarke, without being an actual agent.

If he doesn't want to stay and help his boyhood club try and win promotion to the Premier League, then off he can fuck. Wish him well, being a local lad, but we need everyone committed to the cause here if we are to succeed.

Thousands would give their right arm to be in his position. Playing for Sunderland would mean the world to me, but maybe he's not as invested in SAFC, as they have been in him for years.

Wouldn't like to see your search history if your autocorrect turns "want" to "wang" 😯😉🤣

I love the Easington express but if he is going it looks like the club are doing their normal thing of stringing it out until they get the money too late.Shock.

Not sure what your trying to get over here, if the player is good enough he’d get a deal, if he’s not good enough he won’t, nothing to do with loyalty.
