It strengthens the first team massively, he is top quality in this league and knows the majority of the squad.

I'd still argue he's good enough for the prem in the right team and right system.

If we have any chance of getting him back and making money on him, then we have to do it at all costs.

It's the accepted model that gets mentioned. Sign players who are good Championship players with the Premiership money so that it you go down you have a decent chance of coming back up with those players.

Back in the Premiership you have those same players who weren't good enough first time around.

The club obviously know and it seems weird he's only got 18 months left on his contract when the club seem quite proactive in tying players early now

Although decent players, only 2 of them have any sort of goal record and only one of them plays for us. If Clarke doesn't come, we need another goalscorer, if not two.

Clarke and Roberts went everywhere together when he was here
 
I wasn’t that keen on Clarke coming back as it would affect Watson and Mundle progress but, if and it’s a big IF, Watson is keen on going to Brighton, let’s get Clarke back.

Both Philogen and Clarke on the bench today and Broadhead starts once again . Clarke got on in the 88th minute , Philogen didn't even get a run out.
Do McKenna and their DOF have different opinions on what formation and type of player they require ?

How is it negative bollocks can you see us spending big money getting somebody in ? All stories about loaning players with an obligation to buy if we go up cannot see us spending any big money to bolster the squad to have a big push for promotion
