Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

It’s pretty obvious he fancies it. The club seem resigned to losing him regardless
I'm sure it took him a while to sign his pro deal when he turned 17 aswell.

pretty obvious he will go if there's a chance. Teams don't just offer every 6 months without the nod.

Desperate for attacking options up front, so we sell one of our biggest attacking prospects?

Make it make sense.
£10m for a player with 18 months left who won't sign a new contract and is probably 2nd choice in his position.

I have no information but if that is the situation we are in then it does make some sense to sell.

Hopefully the club put out that he's signed an extension tomorrow.

I don't want him to go. I like having young local lads at the core of the team, and he's a really exciting player to watch. I'd understand selling him for 10m but I can't say I'd be happy about it. I don't get selling him or 2m or even 5m at all. He clearly has what it takes to perform at Championship level now and is only going to get better.
Don’t think any true fan would want him to go but on a scale of what he’s achieved now then 10m is a good offer….

I’m a bit disappointed as he could quite easy make that left wing spot his but if he wants to go we need to make sure we get the best deal we can.

Yeah he didn’t sign on his 17th birthday, was a good few months after

Isn't this all bollocks?

If Watson is leaving he or his advisors are idiots

Clarke would be crackers to return

Bur football is often bonkers.

Villa sell their young striker for lots of money, then their main man gets injured.

How is he an idiot? He’d be getting paid well by a good, Premier League club that gives young players a chance.
